Octavian, 44-27 BC. Denarius (Silver, 22 mm, 3.80 g, 3 h), uncertain mint in Italy (Brundisium or Rome?), circa 29-27 BC. Bare head of Octavian to right. Rev. Octavian's Actian arch surmounted by Octavian standing in facing quadriga; on architrave, IMP CAESAR. BMC 624. Cohen 123. RIC 267. Beautifully toned and well struck on a very large flan, an exceptional piece. Extremely fine.
